Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT or Copilot?
The honest answer is that the right choice depends on where your company already works and what kind of documents it produces. No fanaticism — they all work, just not for the same things.
Where your files live
If the company lives in Google Workspace, Gemini removes friction: it reaches Drive and Gmail without extra integrations. If it lives in Microsoft 365, the same argument applies to Copilot. This criterion weighs more than any difference between models.
Start from the platform you already pay for — the one that needs no integration is the one the team adopts.
What kind of work is most frequent
For long documents, careful analysis and internal assistants I use Claude — it's my tool of choice. For quick research and everyday use across large teams, ChatGPT is usually enough, and it is where people already are.
Run the same real task through both candidates, with the same document, and compare the output.
What guarantees you need in writing
In a professional setting the question isn't which one answers best, but which one gives you business accounts, retention control and access logs. That eliminates options faster than the quality of the answers does.
If you can't switch off training on your data, the tool doesn't go into production.
How I decide on the projects I take on
- One main tool for the whole company, chosen by the platform that already exists.
- A second, approved one, for the more demanding document work.
- n8n connecting everything, so the choice of model isn't locked to one supplier.
- An annual review — this market moves far too fast for permanent decisions.
